Allen E. Sauder

Allen E. Sauder, 74, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Achenbach) Sauder. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1952, Allen was a son of the late Elvin and Dorothy (Butt) Sauder.

Allen owned and operated Sauder Electronics for over 40 years alongside his wife Kathy. He had since retired and still enjoyed everything amateur radio from getting on the radios with his buddies to repairing electronics. His call sign was NB3Z. Over the years Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and taking care of his animals. He was an avid reader, if there was something he didn’t know or wanted to know more of you would catch him reading up on it. He enjoyed teaching his grandson, Theodore about the Bible and they would study it together. He loved spending time with his family and especially his 3 great-grandsons. He would look forward to annual family Bingo during the holidays in hopes to win big.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Jenna Sauder and Christine (Lear) Kramer, wife of Jeff; three grandchildren; Jared Kramer husband of Kassidy; Carley Martin wife of Jeff; and Theodore Hughes.; Three great grandchildren Everett, Nolan, and Miles, as well as two nieces.

He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Lear and a sister, Patricia.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Visitation is from 11:00am-12:00pm, followed by Remarks of Remembrance at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
