Ronald "Bull" Roy Bell, 81, of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026. He was born on February 16, 1945.
Ron was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord and was never shy about sharing what his faith meant to him. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and took great pride in his relationship with God, his family, and the country he served.
Ron proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was very proud to be an Army veteran. His service to his country was an important part of who he was, and he often spoke proudly of his military experience and the nation he served.
For 31 years, Ron worked as a lineman out West. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed keeping busy and could always find a little project to work on. When he wasn’t working on one of his projects, Ron enjoyed fishing with his beloved wife, Shara, and spending quiet time napping with his dog, Maggie.
Most of all, Ron cherished his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Shara Bell; sons, OJ Bell, Joseph Bell, Scott Davis, and Todd Davis; daughter, April Pickering; and many grandchildren who will carry his memory and the lessons he shared with them.
Ron will be remembered for his faith, his love of family, his pride in his country, his hardworking spirit, and his simple enjoyment of life’s everyday moments. He was a man who knew what mattered most to him and was proud to speak about his Faith, Family, and Country.
A private service will be held for family.
Ron’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
