Iraida Mitchell Rivera

Iraida Mitchell Rivera, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Angel Luis Mitchell.

Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico on March 14, 1954, Iraida was a daughter of the late Ovidio Rivera De Jesus and Concepcion Landrau Rosado. She loved playing bingo and going to the casino.

Iraida is survived by her 7 children: Josue Velazquez, Jimmy Mitchell, Carmen Mitchell, Janet Mitchell, Reynaldo Perez, Ivon Blatt, Ivon Mitchell; 17 grandchildren: Sol Marie Mitchell, Michael Carney, Calvin Blatt, Estrella Mitchell, Donovan Carney, Isaiah Blatt, Genesis Rivera, Jose Rivera, Yoniel Peguero, Leilani Mitchell, Josué Velazquez, Alan Velazquez, Alex Velazquez, Geraldo Santos, Luis Santos, Janelys Santos, and Ivonne Shireily Pérez Cruz; and siblings, Luis Antonio Aviles Rosado, Isarais Aviles Rosado, Israel Rivera Rosado, Emely Ortiz Rosado, Nelson Rivera, and Marilyn Almodovar Rivera.
