Anne "Nancy" L. Marchi (née Zweier), formerly of Lebanon, passed away on September 17, 2026, in Hershey, PA. She was born in Lebanon, PA, December 15, 1936, to Marie (Horner) and Curtis Zweier. She graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School in 1955.
Nancy was married to Angelo D. Marchi, who preceded her in death in 2005. Together they shared 47 years of marriage and raised their family in Lebanon. She and Angelo lost their beloved son, Tony, in 1978, and their grandson Erik in 2025. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Angela Marchi (Robert Weidner) and Marisa Arnold (Tom); grandson Seth Arnold (Kelly); great-grandchildren Maddox, Quinn, and Delaney Arnold; her sisters and brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy devoted her early married years to raising her children at home. Once they were school-aged, she returned to the workforce as a cashier at the family business, Zweier's Super Market, where she worked for more than 40 years. Nancy will always be remembered for her easy smile, her gift for making friends with anyone she met, and the way she couldn't resist dancing the moment music started playing. A woman of deep faith, she attended Catholic Mass faithfully and was never without her prayers or her rosary. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Erik's honor to the Glioblastoma Foundation (glioblastomafoundation.org), or to a charity of your choice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tueday, November 24, 2026 — Angelo's birthday — at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Church, 120 East Lehman St, Lebanon, PA, 17046. A visitation will be held prior from 9:30-10:30am, and interment will immediately follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
