William Allen Kovach ("Bill"), 87, of Lebanon, PA, unexpectedly passed away on August 1, 2026.
Born in Lebanon on July 27, 1939, Bill was the son of the late Joseph A. Kovach and Elizabeth (Dengler) Kovach. He attended Lebanon Catholic High School, graduating with the Class of 1957.
Following high school, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he enjoyed a long career with Lebanon Valley Offset before retiring. Bill was also a devoted member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.
Bill was a loving husband to his beloved wife, Mary Ann, who preceded him in death. They shared more than 59 years of marriage built on love, devotion, and family. Known as "Pop" to his grandchildren, Bill treasured every opportunity to spend time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, quiet strength, unwavering support of his family and friends plus his willingness to help others. He consistently put the needs of others he loved ahead of his own.
Bill enjoyed playing golf, camping and traveling, following sports, and gathering with family and lifelong friends whenever he could. Friends and family will always remember his sense of humor, as he often had a funny comment or point of view to share with the gang, in addition to being the best chauffer around!
Bill is survived by his three children: Jeff Kovach and his wife, Noelle; Dave Kovach and his wife, Shannon; and Karen Brown and her husband, Jason; along with ten grandchildren and step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Helen Allen.
