William L. Fields, 91, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Hartman) Fields.

Born in Lebanon, PA on September 24, 1933, William was a son of the late Lloyd and Katherine (Shadel) Miller. He enjoyed traveling, reading, bowling, and golfing. He was a Mason and a member of the Navy Club and the Liberty Fire Company Marching Club.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by four children: Randy Fields, husband of Naomi, Karen Fischer, wife of Ernie, Glenn Fields, husband of Julie, and Eric Fields; five grandchildren: Joshua, Brandon, Max, Megan, and Sarah; four step-grandchildren: Ernie III, Wendy, Natasha, and Shareem; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Fields.

A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 AM, followed by a service at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. The family is requesting those attending the funeral please dress in football jersey friendly attire. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of William to any veterans association would be appreciated.
