Thomas E. Davis, 90, of Myerstown, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Stone Ridge Retirement Center. He was the husband of Irene M. (Spangler) Corl Davis.
Born in Lebanon, PA on August 8, 1934, Tom was a son of the late Aaron and Sara (Snyder) Davis. Tom served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman. He was a retired printer for the Reading Eagle Co. and an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He enjoyed bowling, helping with St. Cecilia's fund raisers, and spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his step-daughter, Mary Jane Schlegel, wife of David Sr.; six step-grandchildren: Eric, Ryan, Nathan, and Samantha Corl and David Jr. and Daniel Schlegel; ten step-great grandchildren and three step-great-great grandchild.
In addition to his wife, Tom was preceded in death by two step-sons, Ernest and David Corl; three brothers, Aaron and James Davis and Herman Good; and two sisters, Patricia Steis and Mary Ann Weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas' name may be made to Our Lady of the Cross School, 1691 Grace Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046 or the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N Ramona Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067.
