Terrence M.
Anderson
Sep 15, 1942 — Jul 31, 2022
Terrence M. Anderson, 79, Annville (formerly of Lebanon), passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine (Uhrich) Anderson.
Born in Lebanon, PA on September 15, 1942, "Terry" was a son of the late Edward Sr. and Sarah (Roller) Anderson. Terry was a retired teacher and longtime Sears employee and substituted at multiple school districts after retirement. Terry was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Very active in his faith, Terry served as PTO president for St. Mary's Parochial School and as CCD director and Eucharistic minister for the former St. Gregory the Great parish. He and Catherine volunteered for decades at church festivals; many will recall his colored pencil sketches. A graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School, Terry graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in art education. He was passionate about painting and drawing and was a member of the Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts. Terry was an active gardener and enjoyed ABBA and Broadway musicals. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. His graciousness and wry sense of humor will be missed.
In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by a daughter, Maureen A. Bentz, wife of Adam; a granddaughter, Eleanor R. Bentz; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, June E. Kolle and Sarah Anderson; and two brothers, Edward and Patrick Anderson.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at St. Cecilia's Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. A visitation will be held prior to mass from 10-11 at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's name may be made to Our Lady of the Cross School, 1691 Grace Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046, or to a charity of your choice. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share your memories with the family at our online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com
