Susanne M. Smith, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Ridgeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Larry B. Smith for 55 years. Born in Lebanon on August 27, 1949, Susanne was a daughter of William and Hilda (Foster) Fasnacht.

Susanne retired from Boscov's in 2018 after 46 years of service. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren and she loved to vacation in Ocean City, Maryland.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters - Vicki Mitchell, wife of Joshua, Stefanie Holler, wife of Tom; a son, Eric Strausser; seven grandchildren - Jarrod Shutter, husband of Caley, Matthew Mitchell, Katie Holler, Emma Mitchell, Lee Strausser, Joshua Strausser, and Erika King, husband of Jay King; great grandson, Grayson Shutter; her sister, Barbara Hess-Cruz, wife of Jose, and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, July 28th at St. Mary's Church, 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon with a Mass of Christian burial being celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
