Stanley Walter Konski, 94, passed away October 1, 2022 at Rosewood Rehab and Nursing Center, Schuylkill Haven, PA.

He was born November 21,1927 in Coaldale, PA, the son of the late Anthony and Sofia (nee Gural) Konski, Sr. He graduated from Coaldale High School in 1946 and served for one year in the United States Army. Stanley was employed by the Harrisburg Patriot News for 30 years retiring in1992. After retirement, Stanley and his wife Jean moved to Spring Hill, Florida where they spent 23 years, returning to Lebanon, PA in 2017.

Stanley loved to travel and ski in his younger years. He was an avid watcher of financial news and markets, and current events on cable TV. He and Jean enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music at a number of social clubs near their home in Spring Hill, Florida.

He volunteered his time to organizations including the Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown, PA, the Democratic Party in Florida and helping children to read in Florida.

Stanley is survived by his two children whom he was so proud of: Dr. Andre A. Konski (Carol Deck), Philadelphia, Antoinette F. Konski, Esq. (David McIntyre, Esq.) of Los Altos, CA, one grandchild Andrea Hanson (Joshua Hanson) of Sewell, NJ, one great grandchild, Zoey, one sister, Valerie Lopez of Philadelphia and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean (nee Leininger) Konski, sisters, Frances and Agnes Konski, Petronella Sepos, Victoria Demyanovich, Rose Daniels, ​Mary Mellay, Pauline Stegmeier. and brothers Milton, Paul and Anthony Konski, Jr.
