Shirley A. Reb, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at home. She was the wife of the late Jacob D. Reb.

Born in Lebanon, PA on September 17, 1935, Shirley was a daughter of the late Guy and Edith (Keller) Rank.

Shirley was a graduate of Lebanon High School and married Jacob in 1956. Shirley was a homemaker while her children were young then held a variety of jobs from waitressing at Cleaver Brooks, to working the bakery department at Festival Foods and retiring from New Penn at the age of 62. She was a member of the Church of St. Cecilia. Shirley enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Colorado, Arizona and especially to Clearwater for the Phillies spring training.

In addition to cheering for the Phillies, Shirley enjoyed yard sales, crafting, knitting, crocheting, reading and especially working jigsaw puzzles. There was always a puzzle set up at home.

Shirley is survived by four children: Debra J. Swalm of Lebanon, Paul J. Reb, husband of Nattie of Hawaii, Thomas A. Reb, husband of Carolyn of Jonestown, Michael A. Reb of Alabama, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Rank.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Cecilia's Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
