Shana Lee Sholly, 37, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Hershey, PA on January 8, 1987, Shana was a daughter of Michael and Tammy (Batdorf) Nye. She was preceded in death by Grandfather Michael Batdorf and survived by Grandmother Elizabeth (Smith) Batdorf.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, Shana is survived by her two children, Jordyn Sholly and Haidyn Sholly. She is also survived by her sister Nicole Nye-Lutz, husband Timothy Lutz, and her brother Hunter Leary, niece Tamia Lutz and nephews Mikah Lutz and Royal Lutz, also goddaughter Sophya Dostick. Many more family, aunt, uncles, cousins, great cousins, friends, and friends who are now family.

Shana has left a lasting impression on so many lives. She once said, "I don't have many friends" but realized it wasn't because she didn't, it was because she made all her friends family. She was driven, dedicated, loving and shared her heart with all who she encountered. She was fun, always trying something new, daring to explore and always looking to grow. And oh how she loved her children in her life and claimed a lot of them. She coached biddy as to give back to other little girls because she was a "Biddy" girl herself and knew what that brought to her life. She played softball, she was crafty, and oh so sassy! She was always giving, never a taker, and was proud but never too proud to share herself with others. To know Shana was to love her!

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Shana's name may be made to the Lebanon Girls Basketball "BIDDY" c/o Jaime Walborn, 1000 S. 8th St, Lebanon, PA 17042.
