Scott A. Hurd

Scott A. Hurd, 41, of Myerstown, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at his residence. Born in Hershey, Pennsylvania on April 13, 1985, Scott was a son of Linda (Beckey) Hurd.

He earned his master's degree in criminal justice, and was employed by Hershey Medical Center working in dermatology. He enjoyed bowling, spending time with friends and family, and especially vacationing with family by the ocean.

In addition to his mother, Linda, he is survived by his step-father, Anthony Burns, a brother, Edward Hurd Jr, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Hurd, his grandmother, Grace Beckey, and an aunt, and uncle.
