Samuel A. Padovani, 76, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at home. He was the husband of Elaine R. (Zawistoski) Padovani, with whom he recently celebrated 51 years of marriage. Born in Erie, PA on August 7, 1946, Samuel was the son of the late Anthony and Adella (Wroblewski) Padovani.

Sam was a member of St. Cecilia's Church. He enjoyed trips to the casino and all kinds of sports - specifically baseball and golfing, but Sam had passion for horse racing, working most of his life as a trainer. Sam's real love, though, was the family that he and Elaine raised and time spent with them were his happiest times of all.

In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by his two sons - Jeffrey R. Padovani, of Denver, Colorado and Christopher J. Padovani and his wife Megan, of Jonestown; two grandchildren - Collin and Mia; a sister, Carla Padovani Lewis, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by two siblings - Amelia Dorich and Anthony J. Padovani, Jr.; and his brother-in-law, James Lewis, Sr.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 21st from 10-11am at St. Cecilia's Church, 120 East Lehman Street, Lebanon. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held privately.
