Samuel Anthony Mione, 69, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Jana Sue Mione.

Born in Buffalo, New York on August 7, 1952, Samuel was a son of the late Vincent Mione and Louise (Measack) Thompson. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, driving his mustangs, playing guitar, and playing chess. He was a generous and giving man, loyal to his friends, absolutely adored his wife, and loved all of his children very much.

Samuel is survived by his five children; Jennifer Oberg, Scott Mione - husband of Jessica, Paul Prentiss, Myles Mione, and Janessa Mione; 16 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15th at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will be on Tuesday, April 19th at 1:30 p.m., please gather at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. for procession to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
