Samuel W. Fleisher, 94, of Cornwall, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Cornwall Manor. He was the beloved husband of Francine L. (Oltman) Fleisher. Samuel and his wife moved to PA after 50 years in Maryland, including living at Leisure World where they had many friends.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 22, 1930, Samuel was the son of the late Jacob and Edith (Wachter) Fleisher. He earned a bachelor's degree and doctorate in chemistry and spent over 30 years working for the federal government where he dreamed of helping to change the world for the better. Samuel worked for several federal agencies and ended his career at the Food and Drug Administration. He was a member of the American Chemical Society and B'nai Brith. After retirement, he volunteered at Washington Ear Associates for 25 years reading the newspaper into a recording system so that it could be accessed by the vision impaired. But most of all, Samuel enjoyed spending time with his family who loved his sense of humor and playful nature.

In addition to his wife, Samuel is survived by two children, Mindy Beth Bickel, wife of Mark, and Thomas James Barrett.
