Ronald E. Long, 64, of Jonestown, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of Sonya L. Long.  Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania on May 22, 1961, Ronald was a son of the late James and Romaine (Smith) Long.

Ronald was a mechanic at Keystone Weaving Mills. He enjoyed watching football, fishing, and fresh air. Whether that be hitting the open road and driving somewhere or just sitting outside in the fresh air taking everything in.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children: Jeremy Long, husband of Alison, Nathan Long, Brooke Long, and Chantelle Long; five grandchildren: Aurora, Jason, Wyatt, Atlas, and Theo: two brothers, Neal and Jim, and a sister, Cathy Lynch, as well as several nieces and nephews.
