Ronald E. Deckman, 80, of Palmyra, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 14, 1941, Ronald was the son of the late Neil and Mary (Mattern) Gossom.

Ronald served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed sharing his experiences and displayed his USMC proudly. He loved to shop online and was a huge fan of the Orioles and Ravens. Working as a manger for General Tire for several years, Ronald gathered a vast knowledge of cars and quickly became exceptionally handy when it came to repairs. He enjoyed horses, had a passion for photography, and always stayed in touch with friends and family on Facebook.

Ronald is survived by his faithful companion, Heather Deitz; a daughter, Dawn M. Ensor and a son, Eric S. Deckman; three grandchildren, Antonio "Tony" Posada, Megan Chappell and Brianna Ensor; six great grandchildren - Reilly Hodges, Landon Hodges, Greyson Hodges, Raina Hodges, Carson Hodges, and Brandon Chappell. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Michael Hodges and his four legged companion, Dakota.
