Robert E. Zimmerman II, has entered his journey from this realm called Earth to take his place in the Cosmos.

Robert E. Zimmerman II, 62 years old, died on April 11, 2026 after a short illness. He was born on June 4, 1963 at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. California.

He is survived by his father, Robert E. Zimmerman of Lebanon, brothers Dwayne (Tammy) of Lebanon, and Steven (Jennifer), a niece and nephew of Strasburg. A son, Nicholas (Rachel) and four grandchildren of Ephrata, aunts, Jacqueline Fick Lawrence and Anastasia Fick both of Lebanon as well as numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother, Sandra (Fick) Zimmerman, grandparents Walter and Irene Zimmerman and Joseph and Evelyn Fick, three uncles and three aunts.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30AM on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc,. 126 S 9th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30-11:30AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name can be made in his memory to the Lebanon County Humane Society, 150 N Ramona Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067.
