Robert "Bob" Mallis, 80, of Myerstown, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital after an acute illness. Bob was married to his loving wife Linda (Levi) Mallis for 57 years.

Bob was born on August 2nd, 1941, a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and is predeceased by his mother, Janet Greenberg, and father, Abe Mallis.

He was the loving father to his precious daughter, Lisa Anne and his son, Stephen David who is married to Mary. Bob "Bop Pop" was the proud grandfather of William and Matthew. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Gwen, Glen, Abe, and Nettie and his brother in law Len Levi, married to Luanne.

The majority of his life Bob worked as an executive in the retail industry. His hobbies included watching movies, assembling his home theater, spending time with his family, friends and furry pal, Peanut, and traveling. Some of his adventures took him to Hawaii and a cruise in Alaska.

In his younger years, Bob taught dancing with his wife being his worst student. While stationed in Biloxi, MS, Bob took the stage as a jazz drummer for both local and national touring acts.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family asked that a donation be made to your local animal shelter.
