Rita A. Hain, 94, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Monday, January 19, 2026 at Alpine Valley Post Acute & Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Guy H. Hain. Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1931, Rita was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Knoll ) Martel.

Rita appreciated the small wonders of nature. Spending her time watching the flowers bloom and the birds fly. Her faith was a cornerstone in her life and she very much enjoyed going to her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Zeller, wife of David. A granddaughter Heather, several great-grandchildren, a sister Barbara Martel, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rita was preceded in death by two children John C. Hain and Douglas K. Hain, a grandson Scott E. Hain and several brothers and sisters.
