Rita H. Banko, 90, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at home. She was the wife of the late Cyril L. Banko.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey on December 7, 1931, Rita was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Downs) Haney.

Rita was a member of St. Mary's Church in Lebanon. She was friendly and cheerful and always loved a good conversation with a friend.

Rita is survived by four children - William Banko, Michael Banko, Barbara Burk, wife of Russell, and Matthew Banko, husband of Sarah; three grandchildren - Kevin, Joseph, and Megan; her sister, Ann Mule; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Cyril J. Banko and daughter, Mary E. Cabrera.

Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita's memory may be made to St. Mary's Church, 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17046.
