It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard William Scott Burkman, infant son of Rodney and Angelica (Zuck) Burkman. Richard passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Hershey Medical Center.

Though Richard's time with us was brief, he was very much loved and wanted by his family. He was named in honor of his great grandfather, Richard William Schildt, carrying a strong and meaningful name that reflects the love and legacy of those who came before him.

In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by five siblings: Kingston Burkman, Edward Burkman, Rodney Burkman III, Liselott Weiler, and William Weiler; maternal grandparents, Koreina and Jay Zuck; and paternal grandparents, JoAnn and Scott Schildt. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Richard William Schildt and great grandparents, Albert and Alice Deitz.
