Richard A. Massar, 80, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Gail P. (Fox) Massar.

Born in Lebanon, PA on August 17, 1942, Richard was a son of the late Steven and Mary (Martalus) Massar. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Foundry for 25 years and was a part time painter for 12 years. He was a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church where he was a custodian and maintenance man.

Richard is survived by three sons: Robert A. Massar, husband of Kim, Michael A. Massar, husband of Vicki, and Matthew D. Massar; two grandchildren: Christopher Massar, and Jason Massar; and his close friend, Margaret Klose. He was preceded in death by six sibling: Stephen, Robert, Charles, Edward, Elizabeth, and Louise.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 14, 2023  St. Benedict's Church, 1300 Lehman Street, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
