Richard M. Checket, 71, of Lebanon, passed away after a long illness on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Schuylkill County, PA.

Born in Lebanon, PA on March 30, 1953, Richard was a son of the late Richard and Rosemary (Fair) Checket. He was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lebanon for many years. Richard worked at Met-Ed until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his car. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his two sons, Jeremy R. Checket and partner, Alicia Hoffmaster, and Timmy A. Checket and wife, Megan C. Checket; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Helene Checket Heisey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, April M. Checket.

A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am, followed by a service at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
