Richard J. Beres, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Hospice and Community Care. He was the husband of the late Dora L. (Mignot) Beres.  Born in Brooklyn, New York on May 5, 1955, Richard was the son of the late Albert J. and Mary "Estelle" (McCurry) Beres.

Richard was an active member of Calvary Chapel in Lebanon, PA. He had a passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and serving others through prayer and various acts of kindness. He loved muscle cars and listening to Elvis Presley, but most importantly he loved and cherished time with his family.

Richard is survived by his children: Christopher R. Beres (husband of Stacey M. Beres), Lisa N. Rivera (wife of Alejandro M. Rivera), Jennifer M. Beres (wife of Richard L. Bixler), Amanda P. Beres (girlfriend of Brannon W. Conley), and Matthew J. Beres (husband of Katey E. Beres); his grandchildren: Alyssa, Kai, Aiden, Nayla, Temperance, Dominic, Ronny and Davina; his brother: Dennis E. Beres (husband of Ann Beres); his niece: Amy L. Beres; and his mother in law: Anair DeLima Mignot.

In addition to his wife and parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother, Albert J. Beres Jr.

A celebration of Richard's life will take place at Calvary Chapel, 740 Willow St., Lebanon, PA 17046, on Saturday, February 4 ^th , 2023 at 5:00 PM.
