Ranverto "Chevy" Cheverett, husband of Carmen Irizarry passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022. Ranverto spent 43 years of his blessed life with Carmen and they raised a beautiful family together. He was born in Caguas, PR on April 15, 1943. Ranverto was the son of the late Emiliano Cheverett and Maria De Los Angeles.

He was the youngest of 11 children and enjoyed driving his Chevy Truck to the local auctions where he loved looking for great deals. He was famous for his "limber" which is a Puerto Rican-style ice cream. Through the years many people came knocking on his door looking for the frozen treat that he was a master at making. It is in those moments that he built a family out of the Lebanon community that he loved so dearly.

He is survived by his sons Roberto Cheverett, Francisco Irizarry, both of Lebanon PA, and Juan Irizarry of Fort Myers, Florida and daughters Iris Robinson of Fort Myers Florida, Delia Irizarry and Mary Irizarry, both of Lebanon PA, and grandchildren - Xavier Cheverett, Ariana McClain, Alyssa Cheverett, Nathan Torres, Robertito Irizarry, Angel Ruiz, Levi Marrero, Chris Santiago, Celeste Robinson, Emily Irizarry, Jasmine Irizarry, Francheska Irizarry, LaCasa Rodriguez, Toccara Lindsey, Angel Benitez, Antonio Neptire, and several great-grandchildren that were his pride and joy.

A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 and funeral service on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 9-10am at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon.
