Ralph E. Clews, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Alpine Valley Post Acute & Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Kathleen A. Clews, to whom he was married for 63 years.

Born in Centralia, PA on October 5, 1936, Ralph was a son of the late Elmer and Anna (Levan) Clews. He was a 1955 graduate of Milton Hershey School. He was a corpsman in the Navy for 4 years, after being discharged from the military he became a nurses aide and worked at the Lebanon VA Medical Center for over 30 years. Ralph was a quiet family man, he loved golf and watching sports, and was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan.

In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by two children, Gregory E. Clews and Lisa M. Knerr, wife of Larry; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Weyman and Judy Clews; a brother-in-law, Joseph Singer; several nieces and nephews; his fur baby Zoey and grand fur baby, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter Clews, Robert Clews, Eugene Clews, and John Wayman and two sisters, Shirley Clemens and Louise Shutter; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Clemens and Craig Shutter.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's name may be made to St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 1300 Lehman St, Lebanon, PA 17046.
