Rafael Marrero, Sr. 76, of Myerstown went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 21, 2025. He passed away at Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico on October 17, 1948, Rafael was a son of the late Jose and Esther (Salas) Marrero. He was a member of Calvary Chapel and a retired skilled brazer. He enjoyed ushering, scripture study, ministry outreach, and music.

Rafael is survived by his children, Marlene and Rafael Marrero, Jr.; his grandchildren, Savannah and Michael; his youngest brother, Johnny; nephew, Joseph; and great niece, Jadica. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jose Marrero and nephew Mark Marrero.

He was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, and cousin. He will be deeply missed.

In honoring Rafael's wishes, cremation has been chosen. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. A visitation will be held from 10-11 on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042.  Interment will follow at Kimmerling's cemetery.
