Phyllis D. Beard, 94, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late James R. Beard. Born in Blairsville on August 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Nick and Pearl (Piccirilli) DeNardis.

Phyllis cherished the moments she spent with her family. She is survived by five children - Donald J. and his wife Karen, James E. and his wife Carol, Richard A. and his wife Mary, Kelly J. Minnich and her husband Donald, and Carol A. Menges and her husband Gregory; seven grandchildren - Amy, Christine, Anthony, Desiree, Jennifer, Susan, and Blake; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis's name may be made to the Lebanon VFW Post 23 Honor Guard, 718 Chestnut Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.
