Phillip Fancovic, 66, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.  He was the husband of Ruth C. (Brown) Fancovic. Born in Lebanon on July 1, 1957, Phil was the son of the late Stephen and Elsie (Jacoby) Fancovic.

He was a member of St. Paul's Knights of Columbus and St. Mary's Church. He loved camping and exploring the outdoors. Phil would tell you that he spent the best 45 years of his life with his wife, Ruth, raising their beautiful family. Together, they enjoyed traveling through the New England States and exploring new places. Phil was a proud and dedicated father who served as his son's scout leader and baseball coach as they grew up. He was exceptionally talented with his hands, from construction and carpentry to landscaping and cooking, Phil did it all with passion and desire. He was selfless in his service for others and generous with his time and talent by taking on home repairs and remodels for family and friends or volunteering countless hours at St. Benedict's Church, the parish where he received each of his sacraments. He truly enjoyed the time he spent working in the church kitchen for any and all occasions, not just for the food they made, but for the lifelong friendships he formed. Phil's unwavering dedication to helping others came with no strings. Making others happy is what made Phil happy. Above all, Phil adored his children and grandchildren and nothing brought him greater joy than spending quality time with the ten people who called him "PawPaw".

In addition to his wife, Phillip is survived by four children: Jennifer Belcher, Nicholas Fancovic, husband of Tara, Nathan Fancovic, husband of Heather, and Brandon Fancovic, husband of Mary; ten grandchildren: Travis Jr, Wyatt, Noah, Lila, James, Emma, Carter, Ethan, Hannah, and Raelynn; two brothers, Dennis Fancovic and Stephen Fancovic, husband of Patricia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bernadine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 9-10am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phillip's name may be made to St. Paul's Knights of Columbus.
