Peggy A. O'Hara, 93, of Cornwall Manor and formerly of Harrisburg died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Cornwall Manor Health Center.

Peggy was born in Louisville, KY on April 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Frank O'Hara and Conda Knoob.

Peggy graduated from New Albany High School in 1947, from Marion University in 1951 and later graduated from Penn State with a Masters degree in Educational Administration. She retired as the Director of Student Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg. She is the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her long time friend, Mary M. Meluskey . She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sandra Meluskey; nieces, Maria M. Dissinger and husband John, Alicia M. Silka and husband Paul, and nephew, Michael J. Meluskey; numerous nieces and nephews in New England and her God child, Kathy Fall Thiemann of Kentucky.

Peggy had developed many friendships during her twenty years at Cornwall Manor and enjoyed traveling, playing golf, her Friday bridge group, and especially her Friday night dinners with friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 2pm in the Zerr Chapel at Cornwall Manor. A visitation will be held from 1:30-2pm, prior to the service in Zerr Chapel. Interment will be at a later date in New Albany IN. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
