Paul E. "Skip" Krause, Jr., 64, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at home after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was the husband of Catherine B. (McDonnell) Krause.  They would have celebrated their 42 ^nd wedding anniversary on October 17.

Born in Lebanon, PA on March 15, 1958, Paul was a son of the late Paul Sr. and Mary (Hartman) Krause. He graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 1976 and Penn State University in 1980. He recently retired from White Rose Settlement Services where he had a successful career in the mortgage settlement business. Skip enjoyed playing guitar, especially in his garage band, "Fake News".  He was an avid golfer and racket ball player. Skip loved music and enjoyed bands of all genres. He and Cathy loved to travel together and recently went to Greece, one of his favorite destinations.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by two children, Jamie Bentley, wife of Jeremy, and Daniel Krause, husband of Erin Hecht; two grandchildren, Nora and Greta Bentley; three brothers, John Krause, husband of Jean, Joseph Krause, husband of Barbara, and Stephen Krause, husband of Debra; four sisters, Jean Bragg, wife of Jim, Susan Dunning, Milissa Woodward, wife of Jeffrey, and Lori Renne, wife of Brendan; scores of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and countless faithful and wonderful friends. He was loved by many.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at St. Paul's Church, 125 S Spruce St, Annville, PA 17003. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Lebanon. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc, 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042, and Wednesday morning from 9-10 prior to mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's name may be made to Lebanon Rescue Mission, 1223 Bittner Blvd, Lebanon, PA 17046.
