Paul Henry Groff, 86, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Joan Marie (Hockley) Groff. They where married on October 12, 1957.

Born in Lebanon, PA on January 30, 1936, Paul was a son of the late Jacob and Hilda (Snyder) Groff. He worked as a truck driver for 65 years, starting at the early age of 15. He was employed over the years for Grimes & Hauer Poultry, Jones Motor Company, New Penn Motor Express, and JP Donmoyer.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by a daughter, Kelly Marie Bell and her husband Ronald of Lebanon, PA; two grandchildren, Kody P. Bell and wife Victoria (Seldomridge) of Lancaster, PA, and Kelsey E. Bell of Arlington, VA; two great grandchildren, Brent R. Bell and Liam H. Bell; five siblings, Lena Arnold of Lebanon, PA, Theresa Kessler of Annville, PA, Donald Groff of Shamokin, PA, Arlene Knoedl of Tonawanda, NY, and Susan Dawson of Tonawanda, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Lynn Groff; siblings, Jacob Groff, Ronald Groff, Hilda Marks, John Groff, and Anna Groff.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 20th from 10-11 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment with full military honors will take place on Thursday, April 21st at 9:30 a.m., please gather at the funeral home by 8:30 a.m. for procession to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
