Paul H. Batz, Jr., 69, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Karen A. (Edris) Batz.

Born in Lebanon, PA on December 28, 1951, Paul was a son of the late Paul and Delia (Barry) Batz.

Paul worked for over 40 years as a plumbing and heating purchasing agent. He loved spending time with his family, particularly his four grandchildren. He loved vacationing with his wife to the islands. Paul loved eating crabs and drinking beer in the summertime by the pool. He will be missed greatly and forever in the hearts of his family.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by two daughters, Lisa Lutz and Amy Brandt, wife of Bradley; four grandchildren, Mia, Bryn, Beckett, and Ivy; his grand dog, Cora; a sister, Mary Hummel; and a brother, Tom Batz, husband of Sue. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Batz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16th at 11:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm and Thursday morning from 10-11 am. Donations in Paul's name may be made to fourdiamonds.org .
