Nelson Gabriel Irizarry Ramos, 57, of Jonestown, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at home with his wife by his side, after he fought a long battle with illness.

Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on December 15, 1966, Nelson was the son of Carmen M. Ramos and the late Bienvenido Irizarry. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, making crafts for loved ones, reading his bible, spending time with family, and watching his Phillies. He always looked for joy in everything around him.

Nelson is survived by his wife, Nancy Irizarry, with whom he spent 21 beautiful years with, Mother and Father-in-law Isabella and Ronald Randall, Brothers-in-law Ron and Clint. Brothers, Frank, Helson, Luis, Wilbert and a sister, Loyda and spouses. Step-brother, Angel and spouse. Also survived by his children, Nelvin, Maelen, and Keishla,  Step-children Nicole, Armand, Shana, Joshua and spouses. Grandchildren, Jadiel, Jayden, Nelson III, Nichole, Tyler, Bradley, Takeo, Devin, and Braiden. A great-grandson, Josiah.

Nelson was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his pet Bird, Akira, whom he loved dearly.

Nelson Gabriel Irizarry Ramos, de 57 años, de Jonestown, PA, falleció pacíficamente el martes 10 de diciembre de 2024 en su casa con su esposa a su lado, después de librar una larga batalla contra la enfermedad.

Nacido en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico el 15 de diciembre de 1966, Nelson era hijo de Carmen M. Ramos y el difunto Bienvenido Irizarry. Disfrutaba de la jardinería, cocinar, hacer manualidades para sus seres queridos, leer la Biblia, pasar tiempo con la familia y ver a los Phillies. Siempre buscó la alegría en todo lo que lo rodeaba.

A Nelson le sobreviven su esposa, Nancy Irizarry, con quien pasó 21 hermosos años, su suegra y suegro Isabella y Ronald Randall, sus cuñados Ron y Clint, sus hermanos Frank, Helson, Luis, Wilbert y una hermana, Loyda y sus esposas. Su hermanastro, Angel y su esposa. También sobreviven sus hijos, Nelvin, Maelen, Keishla, Sus hijastros Nicole, Armand, Shana, Joshua y sus esposas. Sus nietos Jadiel, Jayden, Nelson III, Nichole, Tyler, Bradley, Takeo, Devin y Braiden. Un bisnieto, Josiah.

A Nelson también le sobreviven muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, primos, amigos y su mascota Bird, Akira, a quien amaba entrañablemente.
