Michael J. Rivera, 17, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 11, 2006, he was the son of Carlos Rivera, Jr. and Ramona Rivera.

Michael was a junior at Cedar Crest High School where he was a well-respected player on their football team. He was eager to start training in tech school with dreams of one day becoming an electrician. Michael was outgoing, fun loving and always first to lend a helping hand. His happiest days were those surrounded by the people he loved most - his cousins, teammates, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by two siblings - Nevaeh Rivera and Royal Prince Patterson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held from 9am-1pm on Friday, April 28th at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center (North Hall), 80 Rocherty Road, Lebanon, PA with a funeral service beginning at 1pm. Interment will follow at Kimmerling's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name may be made to the Cedar Crest Football Program at Falcon Football Club, 115 East Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042.
