In loving memory of Michael A. Ritter

Michael A. Ritter, of Grantville, PA, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on January 12, 1970, Michael was a man of deep passions, a kind heart, and an unwavering love for the things and people that brought him joy.

Above all else, Michaels greatest pride and joy in life was his daughter, Ashlynn M. Ritter. She was his world, his greatest accomplishment, and the person who carried his heart with her everywhere she went. For 20 years, he watched her grow with endless pride, celebrating every achievement, big or small. His love for her was unconditional, and though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit will forever live on through her. His pride in her will never fade, he will continue to watch over her, guiding her with the same love and admiration he always had.

Michael is also survived by his loving mother, Betty Lotier, and his siblings, Richard Ritter and Wendy Snyder. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and hold onto the love and kindness he always showed.

Michael had many passions that made his life full. Sprint car racing was his number one love- there was nothing like the roar of the engines, the thrill of the race, and the excitement of being at the dirt track. His love for cars extended beyond racing; they were a lifelong fascination and a true source of joy.

Michael also had a deep love for the open road. Holding a CDL B, he took great pride in being behind the wheel, whether for work or simply the joy of driving. The road was his escape, a place of peace, and truly in his element. He enjoyed the rhythm of long drives and the sense of purpose that came with every mile. Driving wasn't just a job for him it was something he genuinely loved.

The beach was another place that brought Michael peace. Whether it was the sound of the waves, the feeling of sand beneath his feet, or the simple beauty of the ocean, he found comfort there.

Michaels passion for the Dallas Cowboys was unshakable. A loyal fan through and through, he supported his team with enthusiasm, whether watching a game on a Sunday or talking football with friends. His love for the Cowboys was a source of pride, and he stood by them through every season.

Michael had a lifelong love for dogs, always making room for a furry companion. Their loyalty and love reflected his own, and he cared for them deeply.

Michael A. Ritter will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, his kindness, and the passion he had for life will never be forgotten. Though he is gone, his legacy will live on in the memories he created, the love he shared, and, most of all, in his beloved daughter, Ashlynn.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to honor Michaels memory by doing something that brought him joy whether its enjoying a race, taking a drive, or feeling the ocean breeze.
