MaryJane L. Karter, 95, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home.

Born in Lebanon, PA on July 20, 1929, MaryJane was a daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Morrissey) Rudegeair. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed baking and sewing.

MaryJane is survived by four children, Carl W. Karter, Barbara L. Brightbill, Kathryn F. Karter, and Cecelia A. Ruhl, wife of David; three grandchildren, Kyle, Sean, and Laura; five great grandchildren, Michael, Mitchell, Sean, Zachary, and Lucas. She was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by five brothers, five sisters, and five nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025 at St. Mary's Church, 2 N 8th St, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10-11 AM at the church.
