Mary Roberts, 94, of Lebanon, PA passed away peacefully on January 4th after a long illness. She and her late husband, Harry Roberts, had celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary last January.

Mary was born in Philadelphia to Joseph and Anastasia (Rogers) Wood of Tuckerton, NJ, later of San Diego, CA.

Mary was preceded in death by her devoted, dedicated and loving husband Harry, her beloved daughter Donna Roberts, her parents, her brother Dr. Joseph Wood and her sister Joanne Wood.

Being an incredibly loving and sensitive mother and wife, Mary raised 6 children to have positive life goals and values. Surviving Mary are children Patricia Roberts, Judith Osborn, Lois (Edward) Keller, Scott (Kelly) Roberts, and Stephen (Dawn) Roberts; grand-children Stephanie, Nic, Stacy, Alexandra (fiancé Kevin), Hayler and Meighan; step-grandchildren, April, Billy, Ryan and Erin; sweet great-grandchildren Maddison, Jacob, Tucker, Evan and Anastasia.

Graduating with honors from St. Huberts School for Girls in 1945, Mary later continued her schooling for work as a medical lab technician.

Following in her father's footsteps Mary played the trumpet, ultimately participating in several community bands. Mary enjoyed golfing and league bowling with friends and family for many years. Thanks to other hobbies, knitting and crocheting, many family members still have slippers, hats, sweaters and gloves that will always be cherished. More recently puzzles, card games, computer and board games were of interest.

Every day Mary's presence is felt and is missed, but we are all so deeply thankful to have had her in our lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's honor can be made to the Lebanon Senior Center, Lebanon, PA. A family service will be held In Vermont at a later date.
