Mark A. Wilson, 54, of Womelsdorf, formerly of Chardon Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at home after a long, hard fought battle with colon cancer. He was the loving husband of Josie (Keller) Wilson.

Born in Painesville, Ohio on August 6, 1968, Mark was a son of Henrietta (Aikens) Wilson and the late Arthur L. Wilson. He was a member of The Fireplace Christian Fellowship Church, Myerstown. He was an avid Ohio State fan, and he enjoyed his 1990 Mustang. He also enjoyed drag racing, bike riding, running, traveling, missions work, gummy bears and fishing with his buddies and sons along with doting on his wife and daughter. He was employed for 15 years at Berks County Jail as a corrections officer.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mark is survived by three children: Allison E. Wilson, Aaron M. Wilson, and Austin J. Wilson; two brothers, Timothy and John Wilson; a sister, Jean Tager; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Fireplace Christian Fellowship Church, 60 E. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund for Mark's children's higher education.
