Maria L. Rivera, 93, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at home. She was the wife of the late Gonzalo Rivera Garcia.

Born in Puerto Rico on April 18, 1928, Maria was a daughter of the late Ceferino Velez Maldonado and Candelaria Rivera Montes. She was a member of God's Missionary Church. She enjoyed attending church, volunteering at the Salvation Army, and spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by seven children, Janette R. Chandler, Carmen C. Rivera, Evelyn Colon, Miriam Rivera, Norma I. Rivera, Miguel A. Rivera, and Lydia E. Rivera; 26 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and a brother, Carlos Velez. She was preceded in death by two children, Edward Rivera and Angel Rivera, and a grandson, Dennis Ramos.
