Maria Irene Morales, 82, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Wilfredo Acosta.

Born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico on April 5, 1941, Maria was a daughter of the late Augustin Morales and Carmen Almondovar. She was an active member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church and the Legion of Mary. She worked as a nurse and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her husband, Maria is survived by two children, Ivonne Fabian and Wilfredo T. Acosta; two grandchildren, Joel and Vonmarie; four great grandchildren, Jonziel, Joeliz, Kendra, and Xavier; and her brother, Sergio Morales.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm on Friday, September 29, 2023 at St. Benedict's Church, 1300 Lehman St, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Kimmerling's Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10:30-12:00 at the church.
