Margaret J. "Peggy" Martin, 74, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard T. Martin.

Peggy was born June 27, 1947 to the late Dr. Joseph J. and Dorothy A. (Finnerty) Wunsch from Jonestown, PA. She graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School in 1965 and married Richard, the love of her life, on December 16, 1967. Due to Richard being in the military, they lived in San Diego for a period of time and were able to travel to different places for his R&R … one of their favorite trips was when they went to Hawaii.  They eventually settled back in Lebanon and created their life and family. They had two children and gave them the world. Peggy worked in the medical field mostly all of her life in many different capacities. She work as a phlebotomist for many years and retired from Cedar Haven as a medical transcriptionist. Some of Peggy's favorite things to do were traveling the world on cruises with her husband and family. She enjoyed family home cooked dinners. She loved attending shows: operas and Cirque Du Soleil. Peggy was all about her children and family. She treated everyone like they were her own. She loved to chat and laugh and watch her shows with her canine companion, Gibbs. Peggy was a avid supporter of St. Joseph's in Scranton, PA, the military, police and the Lebanon Humane Society.

She is survived by a son, Joseph J. Martin; a daughter, Aimee J.Uhrich, wife of Keith E.; brother-in-law, Rocco P. Savant; two nieces that were like daughters to her, Melissa Sirgenson & Angie Bensing and their children. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy A. Savant.

It was Peggy's wish that her funeral services be held privately.
