Margaret M. Kirkessner, 90, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of the late Andrew C. Kirkessner, Jr.
Born in Lebanon, PA on March 9, 1932, Margaret was a daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Arnold. She was a 1950 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. She was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Annville where she served as an extraordinary minister as well as on multiple church committees. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, boating, fishing and clamming.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Beth A. Reddinger, wife of Allen and Suzanne M. Brown; four grandchildren, Jonathan M. Reddinger, husband of Elizabeth, Christopher A. Reddinger, Troy M. Englehart II, husband of Kendall, and Harrison R. Brown; four great grandchildren, Brady Speicher and Sebastian Reddinger, Dylan and Ava Reddinger; four brothers, Richard Arnold, husband of Shirley, George Arnold, husband of Joan, Stephen Arnold, husband of Dorothy, and Vincent Arnold, husband of Ellen; and two sisters, Barbara Rhoad, and Marie Putt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Arnold; and two brothers, Joseph and Eugene Arnold.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at St. Paul's Church, 125 S. Spruce St, Annville, PA 17003. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lebanon. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10-11 at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
