Lorenzo "Papi"  Perez-Ortiz, 76, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at home, surrounded by his granddaughter Iris, and those who loved him. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, on May 14, 1949, Lorenzo was a son of the late Peto Perez and Meta Ortiz Perez.

Lorenzo was known as "Papi" to all. He was a gentleman and was a grandfather to so many. He loved spoiling his grandchildren, taking them to the park and buying them ice cream. He loved his Bustelo Cafe and going out to eat. He spent time in his garden with his grandbabies. If you didn't know what it was to experience the love of a grandfather- you would live that experience with him. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, Oscar Perez, Iris Zaida Perez, Lorenzo Perez, Leonardo "Lilo" Perez; granddaughters; Iris Perez, Justina Perez, Tanya Catarine; grandsons; Oscar Perez, Elijah Perez, Edwin Gonzalez; great-granddaughters; Ariana "Moosey" Perez, Tashiony Gonzalez, Leighanna Ortiz; and great grandsons; Justin Duff, Adonis Perez, Jowin Gonzalez

Viewing hours will be Saturday February 7, 2026 from 10:00 am - 12:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc 126 S. 9th St. Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be held privately by the family.
