Lois Anne
Ristenbatt
Jul 14, 1961 — Nov 20, 2024
Lois "Anne" Ristenbatt, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Anne was the beloved wife of Michael "Mike" Ristenbatt, with whom she shared nearly 40 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family.
Anne was a devoted member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon, where her bright and welcoming personality made her a cherished part of the congregation. She worked for many years in the mail center at Lebanon Valley College, where she formed lasting friendships and was known for her kindness and positivity.
Her greatest joy was her family, particularly her grandchildren. Anne had an incredible ability to make each grandchild feel uniquely special, creating cherished memories through gardening, swimming, and simply being present for the moments that mattered most. She lived a life filled with love, strength, and unwavering positivity, even in the face of her ALS diagnosis.
Anne is survived by her husband, Mike; her children, Rachel Reinhart (Shawn), Hannah Ehlers (Kurt), and Lois Heisey (Cody); and her siblings, Beth Yorty, Jeanne Belk (Tom), and Bob Yorty (Jane). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Donovan, Haleigh, Jaxon, Elliott, Leighton, and Colton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myles and Lois Yorty.
In keeping with the family's wishes, no formal service will be held. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the ALS clinic at Hershey and Hospice for All Seasons for their compassionate care and support throughout Anne's journey.
Anne's legacy of love and positivity will continue to inspire and bring comfort to all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share your memories with the family at our online guest book at
