Leroy E. Stine, 71, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Rosanna M. (Bowers) Stine, to whom he was married for 35 years.

Born in Lebanon on June 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Violet (Brightbill) Stine.

Leroy was a veteran of The United States Navy and a member of the Church of St. Cecilia. He enjoyed watching drag races, frequenting local car shows with his '99 Corvette, and more recently even tried his hand at gardening. He was fluent in sarcasm never short on jokes. Most importantly, Leroy was a family man and loved every moment he spent with them.

In addition to his wife, Leroy is survived by five children - Stephen Stine, husband of Robin, Jeffrey Stine, husband of Andrea, Doug Stine, Kim Kampmann, wife of Randy, and Kristen Margut, wife of Ryan; twelve grandchildren - Karissa, Taylor, Eyan, Zak, Tyler, Gabby, Ashley, Michael, Stevie, Kylie, Kala, and Kiera; seven great grandchildren - Kallie, Keagan, Elana, Carson, Rafael, Ariel, and Eden; a brother, Ronald Stine, husband of Patricia; three sisters, Edna Hess, wife of Roger; Shirley Hoffa, and Jackie Dull, wife of George; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Stine and three sisters - Beverly Kauffman, Patricia Dechart, and Helen Yeagley.

A viewing will be held from 10-11am on Thursday, June 16th at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street in Lebanon with funeral services beginning at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leroy's name may be made to The Humane Society, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
