Obituary

Larry Lee Edris, 67, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Yvonne M. (Sonnon) Edris.

Born in Lebanon on August 7, 1954, he was the son of Lois Marie (Dundore) Edris and the late Richard Elmer Edris.

Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Kittatinny Hunting and Fishing Club and also enjoyed car racing, woodworking and metal fabrication. Most of all, Larry cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and his dog, Rocky.

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by two children - Jeremy Edris and his wife, Lindsay, and Jamey Steele and her husband Shaun; a sister, Donna Wanner; a brother, Richard Edris and his wife Nancy; six grandchildren - Hayden Steele, Lukas Steele, Courtney Edris, Alexander Edris, Shaun Steele, Jr., and Bryce Edris; his best buddy, Rocky; two brothers in law - Michael Sonnon and his wife, Dawn, and Richard Sonnon and his wife, Crystal; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Monday, August 30th from 6-8pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon and Tuesday morning, August 31st from 10-11am at the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin at 11am and interment with full military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
