Kevin Patrick Uhrich, 65, of Glendale, CA passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at Kindred Hospital in Baldwin Park, CA.

Born in Lebanon, PA on February 24, 1959, Kevin was a son of the late John and Faye (Shields) Uhrich. He moved to California when he was 19 to pursue his career in journalism. Kevin earned a Bachelors in Journalism and was the Editor of the Pasadena Weekly for most of his career. Kevin championed social justice in all his work, giving a voice to people that didn't have one. Kevin is survived by his son, Theodore Uhrich, husband of Dorene; two grandchildren, Kedt and Audrey Uhrich; two brothers, Thomas Uhrich, husband of Evonne and James Uhrich, husband of Sue; four sisters, Cecilia Schmidt, wife of Paul, Mary Kern, Catherine Anderson, and Martha Shaak; sister-in-law, Arlean Tessler; and partner Marina Tse.
